An epic canoeing adventure in one of the most serene locations in Canada
Disconnect from slack messages and emails and dive into the beautiful, calm waters of Algonquin Park. This 5-day expedition strengthens bonds among team members and builds physical and mental strength, all while creating a powerful reset for the body and mind. By combining canoe expedition, leadership training, and mindfulness in nature, the Algonquin expedition is a trip you and your team will never forget.
To bring this trip to life, we partner with Chris "CK" Kelly and his team at Driftwood Paddle. They've been guiding canoe trips for over 10 years. Supporting families, corporate groups, and leadership organizations is their expertise.
These trips continue to receive rave reviews (over 150+ 5-star reviews) because they help you step outside of normal life and into the powerful, peaceful, and inspiring elements of the backcountry with the support of highly experienced guides.
These trips forge bonds and establish trust, allowing the leader within to emerge. By taking the leap of going on this journey, you'll find a renewed sense of groundedness, clarity, and appreciation for nature, all while stoking your inner leadership fire.
Here's a sample itinerary of what your trip could look like.
Our guides will greet you at our base camp, located on Kawawaymog Lake in the northwest corner of the park.
We'll help you pack down your gear into compressed drybags that fit well into our canoes, along with the rest of our gear for the journey. Together, we'll load up the boats and push off for our adventure.
We'll be staying on a relatively large island, 3 lakes over from where we launch. To get there, we'll paddle for 2-3 hours and work together to carry the boats and equipment ("portaging") between the lakes - a fun and rewarding challenge.
We'll guide you through a variety of curated exercises that help you develop your leadership skills and presence, using nature as our canvas.
Throughout your trip, we'll be guiding you on hikes, day trips in the canoes, meditations, yoga, and breathwork exercises that help you feel calm, balanced, and alive.
Much of the magic of this trip is simply being present – breathing in fresh air, hearing the sounds of birds, and having moments of laughter, connection, and awe in this truly unique part of the world.
